In his new role Christmas will be responsible for the marketing of all Snap-on Tools’ brand-leading products - including the Snap-on ‘family’ of hand-held diagnostic tools - to the automotive aftermarket through the 400+ Snap-on franchisee network. Reporting to him will be a team of six people dealing with product sourcing, product mix, marketing programmes and diagnostic customer after-care.
Max Christmas began his career as a graphic designer with a large advertising agency in Birmingham. In 1988 he joined Balco – part of the Snap-on Group – as Sales & Development Manager and from 1998 to 2001 held the position of European Product Manager for Snap-on hand-held diagnostic products. Prior to his new appointment he was the Product Manager for Snap-on’s diagnostics product group.
“We are delighted to appoint Max to this vitally important role for our business,” says Aldo Rodi. “His wealth of knowledge and experience will help us to drive our marketing programmes forward to enable us to continue the successful positioning of Snap-on branded products as leaders in the UK and Irish aftermarket. All at Snap-on wish him every success.”
